RIP Winston Young

Totally saddened to have had a call from Winston Young’s daughter, to hear the horrendous news about her dad and a former player and someone I built up a great friendship with over the last 15 years.

Only after last weeks meeting and arranging with Winston to come in the Fans Museum this Thursday to meet our Veterans In Crisis and the team of volunteers. He would’ve been able to chat openly on his opinion on football. The topic was going to be about salaries and how the game has changed from years gone by.
I find it only fitting to display the contract that Winston was going to talk about, you will be sadly missed.
