Celebrating 10 Years of The Fans Museum as a Community Interest Company

What started as a dream has truly become a reality. Reaching 10 years as a Community Interest Company means more to me than I can put into words, and I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who has been part of this journey. Your support, belief and encouragement have made this possible.

If I go back 13 years, this all began with a personal collection of football memorabilia that I decided to take out on the road. Seeing the reactions, hearing the stories and watching the joy it brought to people made me realise there was something much bigger to be done – something that could truly bring communities together.

Securing the incredible old Monkwearmouth Railway Station gave The Fans Museum a home, a heartbeat and a place where memories, stories and people could connect. What it has grown into since then is beyond anything I could have imagined.
