The Fans Museum have partnered with The Word, South Shields and South Tyneside Council to host a Football Takeover event.

The free event is running from Monday 29 July – Friday 2 August for a week of exciting football activities and the chance to see The Fans Museum’s rare collection of football memorabilia.

Try on shirts from famous players, lift iconic trophies, design your own kit that will be then used to display and made into an actual shirt, come and meet some of the iconic former players and hear their stories of past and much more.
