SAFC v Cambridge United at Fans Museum
We met some fantastic fans at the museum starting with a brilliant group from Sweden who travel around the UK for their love of Football. Their first time here, they enjoyed the match worn shirt of Larson and raised their spirits with the 1973 trophy.
Furthermore, there was Ian and his German friends who loved meeting the SAFC legends Nick Pickering, Trevor Swinburne and Bobby Kerr. How amazing is it that we can engage with fans from all over the world.
Additionally, Craig was overjoyed to interact with both Bobby Kerr and Nick Pickering just showing that making memories is what we do best.
Speaking of, Dylan and Isaac from Willington loved wearing the shirts of Pickford and Defoe including another young supporter who met with Bobby Kerr while wearing Defoe’s Shirt; a unique experience which they won’t soon forget.
We had some Cambridge United fans who were also welcomed into the fans museum even meeting with Bobby Kerr which surely brightened their day.
We can’t forget Lindsy, her daughter Seren, and her mother Carol Foster who are part of the museum and enjoyed meeting Bobby Kerr and Nick Pickering while visiting once again.
Additionally, two Sunderland season ticket holders from Dover came to show their support and met with the FA Cup winner himself; Nick Pickering.
Martin, Lisa, Charlie and Rachel, Sunderland Fans from Cambridge, enjoyed the atmosphere along with many others and since it was St George’s Day we brought out Henderson’s signed Shirt to brighten the faces of Ter Marsh and his fantastic friends.
Some fantastic faces, new and old, which is just a snapshot of what we do.
