💙 Dementia Action Week at The Fans Museum 💙

Throughout Dementia Action Week, The Fans Museum will be opening its doors to provide a welcoming and nostalgic space for anyone affected by dementia, along with their families, friends and carers.
⚽ On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30am – 1:30pm, we will have three rooms set up with TVs showing historic football matches and memorable moments from the beautiful game.
🧣 Visitors will also be able to enjoy handling and wearing football memorabilia and artefacts, helping to spark memories, conversation and connection through football.
Everyone is welcome to drop in and spend time with us in a relaxed and friendly environment ❤️🤍
🏥 On Wednesday 20th May, The Fans Museum team will be attending Alexandra Care Centre at Sunderland City Hospital for a special outreach day supporting patients living with dementia.
