The Fans Museum visited The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland where many items of memorabilia were displayed including Kevin Phillips’ European Golden Shoe, the only English player ever to win the award.
The Fans Museum took to the bridges for a 10 day event allowing the public to take photos and hold football shirts, boots, gloves and the golden boot!
As all SAFC fans know his week we sadly lost one of our own. Former Sunderland and Scottish International Nick Sharkey sadly lost his battle with cancer aged 71. Michael Ganley set up a Go Fund Me to raise money for Cancer and Alzheimers. To support this First Class Memorabilia…

Fans Museum hosted a charity event at The Mallard in Seaham for the upcoming charity night “All the Way Round for Matthew”. An auction was held. All proceeds went directly to Matthews charity.
Thank you to Phil Harbord from Harbro Electricals. His hospitality was second to none as Club Captain. Todays game at Castle Eden Golf course was fantastic, and it was good to see Mr Ward & Kevin, great guys.

This is a very unique piece of our clubs history. It’s over 2ft and 14″ wide, hand made locally. Hope everyone enjoys it and see you all in the FanZone for the Manchester City cup game, there will be some items relating to that special Final in 2014.
